The SIWAREX IS Ex-interface is a barrier separating the load cells installed in the hazardous area from the weighing processors in the non-hazardous area according to the "intrinsically safe" type of protection. Two versions for switch cabinet assembly are available. 

The SIWAREX IS Ex interface can be used for all SIWAREX weighing modules. It contains 6 safety barriers and has the designation to ATEX II(2)G[EEx ib] II.
